The CRC Program provides funding to build critical mass in research ventures between end-users and researchers which tackle clearly-articulated, major challenges for the end-users. CRCs pursue solutions to these challenges that are innovative, of high impact and capable of being effectively deployed by the end-users.

This program is designed to enhance Australia’s industrial, commercial and economic growth through the development of sustained, user driven, co-operative public-private research centres that have the capacity to achieve high levels of success from commercialisation of the outcomes.

The Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) program supports end user driven research collaborations to address major challenges facing Australia. CRCs pursue solutions to these challenges that are innovative, of high impact and capable of being effectively deployed by the end users.
